Launching Process Analysis of Aircraft Gun with Closed Type Gas Reflection Device

Abstract Recoil reduction is one of the most important issues for design aircraft gun. Traditional approaches this purpose will produce back-blast, which constitutes a hazard to fighter planes or attack helicopters. This paper presents closed type gas reflection device gun aiming reduce recoil force without ejecting propellant rearward. The launching process modeled by coupling classical interior ballistic model and flow equations device. fourth order Runge-Kutta method adopted solve modified obtain efficiency On basis, effects various parameters on muzzle velocity are studied systematically. Finally, shooting experiments carried out upon 30mm caliber simulated results agree well with experiment ones. show that, using device, 26.01% attained rearward, nor decreasing dramatically.
